"Above the Line" is Damn Good Entertainment's new television series for Canadian Television. Starring Greg Joelson, Terry Scannell and Ed Stein, it's the story of a Canadian Comedian Steve Paris (Ed Stein) who travels back to his little hometown in rural Canada to shoot his own television series. By bringing his two American buddies Manny and Johnny (Joelson and Scannell) with him he creates a cultural clash that rivals that of the war of 1812. Inexplicably the show becomes a smash success and the town becomes as famous as the characters in the show.

The 13 episode series features dozens of appearances by guest celebrities playing themselves or in character roles.
Subversive and controversial, this series follows the old adage if it's funny, it's funny. There's no topic or situation too outrageous to be tackled. From the opening moments of the pilot to it's unexpected season finale the show runs at full speed and to hilarious effect. Edgy, witty and unrelenting this is the one show people will be talking about at the water cooler for years to come.

The first few episodes were shot in Huntsville Ontario, Canada. The official pilot of the series was shot in LA with Mickey Rooney in June 2008 and then the entire cast will be back in Canada for the rest of their first season during the fall of 2009. All the Producers on the show, Jacqueline Funston, Kevin Wallis, Kate Wheatley and Jim Robson are excited about the possibilities of the show to break worldwide
